About
Diana Flynn creates dimensional art using fabric and acrylic paint and mediums. Raised in Northern California, she studied business, landing a job at Apple Computer, straight after college.
Though she learned a lot from those early years, her interest was pulling her towards making a consumer product of her own and soon, after becoming a “dog mom”, she launched a colorful, boutique-driven dog toy company.
After spending the next decade as a business owner, immersed in designing and manufacturing in the high-end pet space while living on the East Coast, she was ready to pivot again.
This time, she was yearning to simplify a bit and began experimenting with sewing-which led to painting fabric and eventually to making tapestries and textured art. After craving a more creative community, she and her family moved to Los Angeles where she continues to push herself to create dimensional work that is layered and engaging.
Her work has been shown in galleries throughout Los Angeles, has been placed in the healthcare and hospitality sectors and is collected across the U.S. and Internationally.
